Understanding resources, ports, and manual approval

Updated 1 hour ago 1 views

Resource limits

Each product has a defined memory, CPU, and disk allocation. These limits apply to the service and are not a promise that every application will use all resources continuously. Large modpacks, busy communities, databases, and multiple services can require more resources than a small plan provides.

Monitor the server panel and keep enough disk space available for logs, updates, worlds, backups, and uploaded files. A full disk can prevent a server from starting correctly.

Ports

Ports are assigned by the panel so services do not overlap. Use the port shown for the specific server rather than selecting a familiar port manually. Web applications use the assigned web hostname and port routing; game servers use their game port and any additional ports listed in the panel.

Manual approval

Products that require more resources or contain multiple managed services may be marked Manual approval. You can complete the order, but deployment and payment setup may wait until Ghost IT reviews the request and confirms that the requested service can be provided.

Do not create duplicate orders while waiting for approval. Reply to the order or support ticket if you need to add information.
